Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure all plant equipment is lubricated regularly according to manufacturer recommendations, including process and facility equipment.
- Communicate potential problems as they arise.
- Liaise with lubrication and filter suppliers on all issues.
- Maintain and control inventory levels.
- Implement proper identification and disposal of waste oil in accordance with Goodyear and M.O.E. guidelines. - Check levels on all hydraulic tanks in curing areas.
- Fill hydraulic tanks as required.
- Receive and unload oil deliveries from tankers.
- Dispose of waste oil via tanker or drum and document accordingly.
- Order and restock air filters.
- Take oil samples and document all test results.Monitor equipment oil levels and temperatures.
- Complete assigned plant-wide preventative maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Top up auto greasers throughout the plant.
