Job Description

What the role is: DIRECTOR, LEGAL  
What you will be working on: An excellent career opportunity for lawyers seeking a management position in the public sector or for current in-house senior legal counsels seeking new challenges. You will assist the General Counsel to manage and lead a team of lawyers working on delivering timely and practical solutions for emerging and dynamic land transport issues. You will work closely with policy and operations divisions as well as construction project teams, on providing legal advice on a diverse spectrum of land transport and infrastructure matters, such as legislation, licensing, prosecution, contracts (local and overseas), claims (statutory, contractual and common law). 
As Director, you will work closely with the General Counsel to be the effective bridge between staff officers and senior management. 
You will lead a team of lawyers that provide legal services including those relating to :
