About us
Dr. Gomez Ligüerre´s academic interests are focused on contract law and tort law. In particular, the relationship between these two areas and the applicable remedies. He is currently leading a project on the contractual and non‑contractual liability of digital platforms. In recent years, he has studied in some detail the problems arising from the compensation of damages caused by infringements of competition law and the problems arising from the causation of pure economic losses. Dr. Gomez is willing to collaborate with researchers interested in any of the mentioned areas and others related to the interplay between contractual and extra‑contractual remedies.
