Job Description
:Freight Rate Management: Manage RFQ and Spot quotes, analyze and negotiate with carriers to obtain competitive rates, build relationships, and secure volume discounts. This includes ensuring appropriate service levels and reliable transit lead time to meet customers’ needs. Provide Freight and Hub computation requested by business managers for customer RFQ.
Routing Guide: Create and publish an Internal and Supplier Routing Guide which serves as a shipping reference for Suppliers and AE Shippers.
Freight Cost Management: Collect, monitor, and analyze monthly freight spending on all import, export, and intercompany shipments versus budget.
