Summary The position is located within the ATO, FAA Logistics Center (AJW-L000). The Material Management Team provides supply chain management to National Airspace System (NAS) customers. The teams of inventory managers administer support for over 22,407 operational National Stock Numbers (NSN) and 8,402 Facilities & Equipment NSN's. Responsibilities The Logistics Management Specialist performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Applies experience and advanced knowledge applicable to build detailed and specialized skills in developing supply support plans for extremely complex and diverse NAS systems and equipment programs.
