Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shipments across all four transport modes (Air, Sea, FCL, LCL, Road and Rail); manage freight forwarder, shipping line, and carrier relationships for all modes of transport.
• Negotiate freight rates, transit times and service levels with logistics service providers; monitor shipment movement from origin to destination and resolve delays proactively.
• Coordinate with airlines, GSAs and air freight forwarders for AWB generation and documentation; manage dangerous goods (DG) classification and compliance for air cargo (IATA DGR).
• Handle FCL/LCL bookings with shipping lines and NVOCC operators; manage Bill of Lading preparation, amendment and surrender (Original, Telex Release and Express Release).
• Coordinate import/export clearance at Jebel Ali Port, JAFZA and other UAE ports; track vessel schedules (ETD/ETA) and manage demurrage and detention.
