Logistics and Planning Coordinator (imports)

1. Key Responsibilities - Update Transnet shipping schedules and monitor vessel activity
- Track containers from origin through arrival, port release, and cold store intake
- Coordinate internal cold store receiving, storage, and dispatch planning
- Projected forecasting of incoming containers
- Liaise with State Vet for inspections, permits, and release procedures
- Check and validate import documentation
- Communicate with shipping lines, clearing agents, State Vet & internal teams Requirements - Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics (advantage)
- Experience working inside a commercial cold store operation
- Understanding of State Vet procedures (advantage)
- Experience in logistics, shipping, imports, or clearing & forwarding
- Strong Excel, planning, and communication skills
- High attention to detail & ability to work with time-sensitive schedules
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
