Locum Production Pharmacist – Johannesburg
Sector: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Reference: MVG/LPP Contract: 12‑month fixed term
Partnering with a Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) in the pharmaceutical sector, the Production Pharmacist will oversee manufacturing operations, ensure GMP compliance, and provide line oversight within a regulated environment.
Key Requirements
Pharmacist Registration — Bachelor of Pharmacy and active SAPC registration (non‑negotiable)
Production Experience — Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical production (non‑negotiable)
Manufacturing Exposure — Hands‑on experience in product manufacturing; packaging exposure beneficial
GMP Expertise — Strong understanding of GMP, quality, and regulatory compliance
Line Management — Competent in opening/closing of production lines
Report Writing — Ability to compile accurate production and compliance reports
Shifts – Ability to work rotational shifts (07h00 - 23h00)
