Job Description

Minimum requirements:
  • Grade 12 and a related tertiary qualifications highly beneficial (Legal Secretarial N4-N6 or a related National Diploma)
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in a litigation department (processes and protocols) and all administrative duties related thereto
  • Must have experience working with court and online systems (Caselines/Court Online/Searchworx/CIPC)
  • Experience with FICA requirements and Ghost Practice Bookkeeping System highly beneficial
  • Must be able to type and do dictaphone typing (above 60 words per minute)
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to Attorneys in litigation department, including managing of diaries
  • Preparation, formatting and compilation of pleadings, affidavits, memoranda, correspondences and bills of costs
  • Proofread legal documents and pleadings
  • Opening of files and debiting of fees on Ghost Practice <...
