Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficient meal preparation
- Prepare and cook grilled meat and Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation consistency
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety, and hygiene compliance
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock rotation
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Provide support to the Head Chef as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or Commis in a restaurant industry. Experience in Japanese cuisine is a plus
- Knowledgeable in grilling techniques is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
