Lighthorse Police CID Lieutenant

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The Lighthorse Police CID Lieutenant manages Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Investigative Unit, overseeing case management, investigative operations, and Criminal Investigators. Responsible for directing investigations, reviewing and approving reports, and ensuring cases are conducted thoroughly and in accordance with established standards. Coordinates with all courts within the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s jurisdiction. Ensures compliance with Choctaw Nation (CNO) and Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police (CNLP) policies, procedures, and criminal investigative protocols.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. Supervise, lead, and evaluate Criminal Investigators, including assigning caseloads, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and mentorship. Promote a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability within the investigative unit.
