Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 11PM - 7AM Queens

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determines required quality of care by developing and interpreting the facility's policies and standards of care; enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to NYSDOH regulations; making or recommending adjustments to protocol/policy as needed

• Completes frequent rounds to all resident care areas during the assigned shift to ensure provision of appropriate resident care

• Provides daily shift change report to CNA staff and shift to shift report with incoming/outgoing nurses

• Completes narcotic count with incoming/outgoing nurse.

• Ensures all residents have appropriate armbands in place.

• Ensures completion of resident weights and vital signs as required
