Overview

An exciting full‑time permanent opportunity has arisen to join Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero Auckland Central City Library, part of the Central City Hub, as a Community Engagement Librarian in the Community Connection team . The role focuses on engaging with the broader community within Auckland’s central city and the Waitemata local board, working with vulnerable groups and building connections between the Central City Hub and local organisations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with vulnerable and diverse communities to identify service gaps.
• Apply co‑design principles to design services and programmes driven by community need, focusing on community well‑being, loneliness, homelessness, youth homelessness, inclusivity, and holistic health.
