The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Education Department is now accepting applications to fill the following Permanent Full-time position based out of Bell’s Point Elementary School in La Ronge, SK:


LIBRARIAN

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

  • Processing, shelving, shelf reading, circulation, and cataloging.

  • Use POLARIS LIBRARY WORLD and LEAP Library Systems as part of daily work.

  • Supervise and train staff, volunteers and students to assist with the work of the library

  • Maintaining the catalogue of the collection at the school library, on card or in the computer including filling out card order slips, card filing or database input in cooperation with the Saskatchewan Library.

  • Planning the operational and capital budget for the Library and recommending it to the Principal.
