Liaison Psychiatry Occupational Therapist

Job Summary
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist (OT) Part time with expertise in older persons care to work within the Liaison Psychiatry Service in the acute general hospital. Applicants will require knowledge and experience of managing dementia and other mental health difficulties commonly found in older people. Knowledge of older people's physical health problems is also required. The role involves autonomously carrying out generic mental health assessments and treatments while working closely with the Older People's Specialist's within the service.

Main Duties of the Job
We are also able to provide some short-term follow up care/home visits within the community. This role provides a mental health OT specialist within the general hospital.
