Job Description
The Legal Counsel will advise on legal matters for MDIS, including policy, innovative academic collaborations, research initiatives, commercial transactions, regulatory rules and regulations, programmatic accreditation, and general business matters. He/she will work collaboratively with colleagues within MDIS to provide strategic legal advice throughout the Institute and help translate complex problems into practical solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Prepare, analyze and review a variety of contracts with vendors, banking institutions, students, and other third parties (examples include Enrollment Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Purchase Orders, Lease Agreements, etc.).
- Draft, develop and update contract templates and other forms used by MDIS.
