Legal Counsel (Land Acquisition)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To handle cases, contracts review, compliances, legal due diligence, provide legal opinion to the different departments, and such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• To monitor the required submissions/compliances of the Technical Services Group as well as those for the Legal Services with the various government agencies.
• To act as the Assistant Corporate Secretary during Board/Shareholder meetings, alternate Compliance Officer before government agencies, and other legal functions as may be assigned from time to time or as may be required by law.
• To assist the Legal Director on the concerns of Department and the Corporation, where necessary, and in the preparation of reports.
• To coordinate and prepare all documentary requirements needed for Board and Shareholders’ Meetings.
• To initially prepare the Department’s Budget for review and approval of the Legal Director.
