Lecturer in the Global History of War and Conflict (Education)

# About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. PhD awarded in War/Conflict/Security Studies, History or a related field. 2. Ability to deliver innovative and effective teaching to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in the global history of war and conflict (16th-19th centuries) with a focus that extends beyond Europe and North America (and not on sea power), as well as to contribute to the broader teaching offered by the department. 3. Publication and dissemination of education or discipline-related scholarship in peer-reviewed journals and/or conferences. 4. Evidence of contribution to community building within a higher education setting. 5. Excellent communication and presentation skills. **Desirable criteria** 1.
