Learning Support Assistant

Are you an experienced and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? One of our partner Post‑16 education settings in the Stockton‑on‑Tees (TS19) area is seeking a full‑time Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to Post‑16 learners with a range of additional needs, including SEND, SEMH, Autism, and ADHD.
• Support learners with classroom activities, coursework, and independence skills.
• Assist with personal care needs where required, ensuring dignity and wellbeing at all times.
• Work closely with tutors and wider support teams to deliver personalised learning strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion within a further education setting.
• Support learners’ academic, social, and emotional development.
