Learning Support Assistant (Post‑16 Provision)

This South London high‑performing 6th Form College is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support learners with additional needs as they prepare for exams, apprenticeships and higher education.
You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, develop independence and achieve strong outcomes across their chosen pathways.
Key Duties
* Support students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and SEMH
* Provide academic support in lessons and supervised study
* Help students plan, organise and manage coursework deadlines
* Deliver targeted interventions (literacy, numeracy, study skills)
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources
* Encourage resilience, confidence and positive routines
Person Specification
