The Position

Learning Area Leader – responsible for driving excellence in curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and student outcomes across Years 7–12. The role requires strategic leadership, initiative and professional influence, fostering a high‑performing team culture where teachers collaborate, innovate and continuously improve practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the learning area, shaping and aligning curriculum with the College vision, Victorian Curriculum 2.0, VCE Study Designs, VCE Vocational Major requirements and the EREA Touchstone of a Liberating Education.
• Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices within the learning area.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture among teachers, encouraging professional development and reflective practice.
