Lead Voucher Examiner

Summary Member Services Veterans Transportation Program (VTP) helps Veterans' access care by overcoming certain transportation barriers that may discourage Veterans from accessing VHA services. VTP assists Veterans through Beneficiary Travel (BT), Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG) and the Veterans Transportation Service (VTS). Responsibilities Major Duties: The incumbent performs developmental assignments under normal supervision. The incumbent independently performs the functions and duties of the position by organizing, researching and completing work assignments pertaining to VHA MS operations. The employee serves as lead for a group of three or more GS-06 Voucher Examiners. The employee resolves discrepancies and/or problems that are associated with claims and/or invoices received and enters/submits those into a centralized automated system.
