Job Description
You will be an experienced primary health care nurse with a current annual practising certificate with proven leadership capability and a passion for improving community health outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have significant experience within the Primary Health Care sector
- Have previous nursing leadership experience (essential)
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, direct and support nurses to work effectively within their scope of practice to maintain high standards of clinical governance and quality improvement
- Have experience developing, implementing and refining clinical processes to support efficient and safe service delivery
- Be an independent vaccinator and cervical smear taker
- Ideally hold a postgraduate qualification in nursing (or be working towards one)
- Understand, or willingness to deepen your understanding of, the Treaty of Waitangi, Te Ao Māori, equity, and cultural competencies
