Job Description
Position Summary The Lead Marine Personnel Officer covers all aspects of day-to-day Operations with regards to Marine HR within the fleet, including managing seafarer manning schedules and ensuring charterer’s matrix is met.
Will be actively involved in the preparation of annual manning budgets, performance management, employee relations and disciplinary matters, for vessels under their responsibility Major Responsibilities Treat Health, Safety and Environment as top priority.
Act as representative of Marine HR team in Manila for HR matters Mentor and support the Marine Personnel Officers with day-to-day operations and future career development.
Preparing the annual manning and travel budgets for Fleet Personnel Manager approval.
Ensure that MPO’s approve payroll / leave liquidation.
Provide vacation/absence cover as required – ‘Operations’ Duties as outlined in MPO Job Description.
