Lead Letters of Credit Operations - Montreal

Join an international banking institution as the Documentary and Guarantee Operations Team Lead in Downtown Montreal. Oversee letter of credit operations and ensure compliance with bank regulations.

This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of $110,000–$115,000, along with 4 weeks of vacation and a 20% bonus. Lead a dedicated team administering letters of credit, including Standby/Guarantees and Import/Export letters. Your expertise will ensure smooth transactions and adherence to compliance guidelines while building relationships with clients and corporate groups.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily team operations and report updates
• Ensure compliance with UCP 600 and Bank procedures
• Approve required letter of credit documents
• Manage daily maturity and past due fee reports
• Monitor pending inquiries and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business or related field
