About the role: Reporting to the Senior Lead, Fish, the Lead, Fish Monitoring is responsible for delivering fish population and fish habitat monitoring studies across EVR’s operations. Key responsibilities include the design, planning, and execution of fish population and fish habitat monitoring programs, and supervising a team of direct reports, consultants, and contractors implementing fish and fish habitat monitoring programs across the Elk Valley.

To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong knowledge in fisheries science, excellent organisational and communication skills, and ability to effectively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

In this role you will:

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Develop and execute fish population and fish habitat monitoring studies, including scopes of work, request for proposal (RFPs), and review of study designs
