Lead Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer for a highly technical engineering business delivering complex, safety-critical systems.

You will be leading the Electrical Team while remaining hands-on, owning system architectures, reviewing designs, and ensuring compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers.
• Own electrical system architecture and technical delivery.
• Oversee control panel and system-level design.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards.
• Support safety reviews.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified Electrical Design Engineer.
• Strong background in industrial control systems.
• Experience with PLCs.
• Knowledge of functional safety.
• Comfortable fault-finding and working hands-on when required.
