Job Description

Partnering with a client in the financial services industry undertaking a major investment in its data platform for a 12-month day rate contract. 

This position would suit an experienced Principal Data Engineer or Technical Lead who enjoys remaining hands-on while providing technical leadership, driving engineering best practices and supporting the successful delivery of complex data initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud-based data engineering solutions.

Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to a team of data engineers.

Design, build and optimise ETL pipelines across multiple layers of the data platform.

Champion engineering best practices and contribute to the overall data architecture.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of key data projects.
