Purpose of the Role

The Lead Campus Professional at Simon Fraser University is Hillel BC's primary presence on a campus where Jewish student life is still taking shape. This role exists to build relationships, foster community, and empower students to explore their Jewish identities in a welcoming and inclusive environment. The Lead Campus Professional meets students where they are—in residence halls, campus spaces, and everyday moments—and helps them create meaningful experiences rooted in Jewish culture, tradition, and connection.

This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial role suited to someone energized by one‑to‑one relationship building, comfortable working independently, and committed to creating something meaningful from the ground up.
