Land Surveyor

Summary A Land Surveyor, measures and establishes legal boundaries for federal lands, maps, and geographic data. These positions are with Bureau of Land Management across; Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Utah. Information about locations and surrounding areas can be found at; Phoenix, AZ; Lakewood, CO; Roseburg, OR and Salt Lake City, UT. We expect to fill 6 vacancies total at this time; however, additional positions may be filled from this announcement if they become available. Responsibilities Preparing draft Special Instructions for survey requests by the BLM, BIA, Indian Nations, FS, BOR, NPS and other Federal Agencies after research is complete and interpretations have been made of the information collected Provides technical assistance to other personnel in cadastral program, external and internal customers, and private Sector surveyors.
