Job Description

First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate. Pay will vary based on grade level and/or duty location for which you're selected. Responsibilities Review and process applications for lands, mining, mineral, oil and gas pipelines, electronic signal transmission systems, and roads/trails for recordable disclaimers and other actions. Make decisions concerning the application and compliance on land patent applications. Prepare, finalize, and distribute patents ensuring appropriate rights are granted, conveyance authorizations cited, patent reservations inserted, and existing rights identified. Analyze reports; research land records; and review private title documents and title insurance policies. Communicate with customers land transfer laws, regulations and land statuses.
