Job Description
Labourer / Groundsman required to work around the Southend-On-Sea area.
Hours: Approx. 7:00am - 4:00pm (with break)
Contract Type: CIS (Self-Employed) - offering £17.50ph based on a 8 hour working day + a lunch break.
My client is looking for a reliable, hard‑working Labourer / Groundsman to join their construction team. You will be involved in all aspects of groundworks, labouring and domestic projects including extensions and house renovations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of groundworks (digging, drainage, foundations, concreting, backfilling, etc.)
- General labouring duties: loading/unloading materials, moving tools and equipment, keeping site clean and tidy
- Support trades on site (bricklayers, joiners, plumbers, electricians, etc.)
- Assist with house renovations and extensions from strip‑out through to completion
