Summary This position is located in the New World Screwworm Facility (NWSF), Field Operations (FiOps), Veterinary Services (VS), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). This position acts as a Laboratory Worker, providing support in laboratory setting focused on New World Screwworm (NWS) activities. APHIS is an emergency response agency.New World Screwworm Responsibilities The duties may include, but are not limited to: Assemble, disassemble, clean and reassemble various instruments and equipment of varying complexity. Ensure all equipment and materials required for laboratory testing are prepared and available. Prepares routine statistical reports for supervisory review. Oversee and participate in laboratory and field activities to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with procedures.
