Job Description
Lab Coordinator
Provides overall leadership, management, and operational direction to a skilled team of 9 laboratory technicians and field samplers across two SAGD assets (Christina Lake and Christina Lake North). This full‑time employee position works a shift rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operation of a high‑volume laboratory supporting sample testing and analysis for two adjacent SAGD oil sands sites.
- Prioritize and direct team work to achieve goals efficiently using people, processes, and technology.
- Oversee laboratory operations, leveraging advanced analytical equipment (GC, ICP, titration, viscosity/density tools).
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving operational challenges and enhancing processes.
