ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will lead the delivery of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Northumbria University and Tridonic UK. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will lead the delivery of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Northumbria University and Tridonic UK. This project focuses on designing, testing, and implementing advanced power electronics solutions for a novel PV-powered outdoor lighting system.
Building on work already completed, the successful candidate will take ownership of the next stage of technical delivery, including the development, testing and validation of power conversion, control and battery management approaches. You will work closely with Tridonic engineers and Northumbria academics to translate research outcomes into practical design guidance, technical documentation and knowledge transfer within the business.
