Hays Education is working with a rising number of primary schools across Telford who are seeking confident and supportive Teaching Assistants to work within Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6). Schools are requesting additional TA support for both short term and long term placements, creating excellent opportunities for those who enjoy working with older primary pupils.

Your new role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, helping to deliver structured learning, guide independent work, and reinforce key curriculum skills. Your role may involve supporting small group activities, 1:1 intervention programmes, general classroom support, or assisting with whole class learning depending on each school’s needs.This role is ideal for someone who is confident supporting older primary learners, enjoys academic challenge, and wants a flexible and rewarding role across a variety of school settings.
