About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to take over the leadership ofour Kitchen and continue to work as part of the team ‘on the tools’ cooking at Metlifecare Hillsborough Heights Village.

This is a 40 hour a week, Monday to Friday role, but there will be the need to be flexible to work some weekends if there is an event on.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations - which runs 7 days a week - including food planning, cooking , and maintaining a high level of meal presentation.
• Stock management and Food Control Plan audits
• Recruitment, leadership, and supervision of the kitchen employees.
• Preparing attractive, profitable menus and cabinet food for our residents.
