Overview

A shift manager for the restaurant operations at Hotel Karhu and the newly refurbished Hotel Sodankylä in Sodankylä, Lapland.

Responsibilities

• Assist the hotel manager and cover their absence, including staff scheduling and shift planning.
• Handle kitchen and front‑of‑house operations for two breakfast venues, a buffet/carte restaurant, banquet and meeting spaces.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory control, invoicing and material ordering.
• Manage pricing, recipe development and menu planning.
• Maintain overall cleanliness, organization and adherence to peer hospitality standards.
• Monitor and enforce House rules and safety procedures.
• Provide guidance and support for all staff to deliver high‑quality customer service.
