KBA Litho Press Minder (Epping 2, Cape Town) Full Time Printing 12 Aug 2025 Key Responsibilities Machine Operation : Set up and run the KBA litho press according to job specifications. Load paper, adjust feeder settings, and ensure correct ink/water balance. Monitor colour quality and register throughout production. Quality Control : Conduct press checks and adjust settings to maintain print quality. Inspect printed sheets for defects such as smudging, misregistration, or colour variation. Maintenance : Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the press. Identify and report mechanical or technical issues. Production Efficiency : Work to achieve daily production targets with minimal waste. Record production data, including run times, waste, and material usage.
