Kaiako: Work Readiness & Construction Educator (Fixed Term)

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is seeking an akaiako to teach the Work Readiness Building and Construction Training Scheme (Level 2) in Whakatāne. The role involves developing lesson plans, presenting learning materials, and evaluating tauira progress. Duration is until December 2026, with 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Sun).

Salary ranges from $66,997 to $83,747 pro rata. Applicants must hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (Adult or Secondary Education), a Level 3 carpentry qualification or equivalent, and
