Job Description
Location Kommetjie, Cape Town Requirements - National Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Consumer Science, Food and Nutrition, Biotechnology, or a related qualification.
- HACCP certification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a food manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or quality assurance environment.
- Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems, hygiene standards, and food safety legislation.
- Experience with food safety documentation, document control, traceability, and audit preparation.
- Knowledge of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, swab sampling, temperature monitoring, pH testing, Brix testing, and shelf-life testing.
- Experience with Certificates of Analysis (COAs), product specifications, and production records.
