Junior draughtsman

Requirements Experience: 1-3 years' experience Qualifications: Relevant draughting qualification advantageous. Professional Registrations: Not required. Software: Microsoft Office (proficient in excel, word, outlook), Nesting Software (any but not critical), any 3 D design package (Auto CAD and Inventor preferred). Proficient in English (Crucial) and Afrikaans (Ideal) Notice period: Not more than 1 month. Responsibilities Reports to engineering/drawing office manager. Product development and design. Assist Engineers and Design Draughtsmen. Take on complete projects from start to finish. Maintain drawing packs, filing and administration. Issue drawings to factory. Assist production and repair departments as needed. Create nestings for plasma. Assist with day-to-day requirements. Bills of materials. Proper planning and time management.
