Job Description
Summary: We are a fast growing company in an interesting and challenging segment of the insurance industry. The primary function of this position is to support the Accounting department in meeting monthly deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
Primary Responsibilities
- Take ownership for maintenance of the permanent accounting records of assigned entities.
- Conduct monthly account and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain AR and AP.
- Balance inter-company accounts.
- Issue payment or invoices as required.
- Prepare and post journal entries as required.
- Process payroll on a timely basis.
- Produce monthly financial statements.
- File taxes and assist on source remittances on a timely basis.
- Assist on general bookkeeping and generate reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
