Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Private Enterprise compliance team to support New Zealand’s privately‑owned businesses in meeting their goals.
- Assist in preparing annual accounts and tax returns, or monthly management work, initially focusing on smaller and more straightforward clients (including data entry, spreadsheet work, drafting accounts, etc.).
- Respond to client queries and support the compliance team in managing client relationships concerning income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes.
- Attend in‑house or external training to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in using professional accounting software.
- Apply your learning directly to practical challenges, gaining hands‑on experience.
- Provide insightful financial solutions and advice to help businesses thrive.
