Journeyperson Pipefitter The Pas

Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Journeyman Pipefitter’s responsibilities include:

• Fabricate/assemble piping and valves
• Hydrotest, assemble and install pipe spools in the facility
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe
• Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
• Other duties as requested

Qualifications

• Journeyman Pipefitter Red Seal Certification/4th year Apprentice
• Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Prefer 3 years’ experience
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures & processes
• Ability to work independently and take initiatives
• Robust work ethic and safety record
• Solid interpersonal skills; both verbal and written communication required
