Journeyperson Heavy Duty Repair Mechanic

Location: Onsite – K3, Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.

Pay: 60.82 CAD $ per hour as per CBA agreement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical machines and equipment on site under typical conditions.
• Dismantle, clean, measure, assemble, torque, run, and test gasoline and diesel engines and diesel fuel systems.
• Repair and service power control units such as hoists and hydraulics.
• Install and maintain drive lines, including clutches, transmissions, torque converters, V‑joints, propeller shafts, and differentials.
• Safely operate specific units of mobile equipment, including overhead and mobile cranes.
• Test drive equipment after servicing, completing exam and task sheet for each vehicle.
• Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions; prepare written reports as required.
