**Description**
SAIC is hiring an IT Project manager to support work at the NOAA Headquarters’ in Silver Spring, MD.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Supporting the NOS ACIO, Deputy ACIO and Chief Technology Officer with management of strategic- level special (non-operational) projects.
+ Scheduling and helping facilitate inclusive strategic planning meetings, both IMO-only and with NOS IT governance boards, on at least an annual basis; multiple meetings may be needed to arrive at a plan consensus.
+ Using facilitation tools to help brainstorm, prioritize, and achieve consensus.
+ Ensuring notes and decisions are recorded (with assistance from other contract team members).
+ Maintaining annual strategic planning tracking sheet with adequate metadata to determine alignment and understand milestones and success factors.
