Inventory Control Specialist

**Job Description**
General Purpose

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in a plant, warehouse, store, or other department. Receive, inspect, verify, store, and inventory the incoming products. Verify and post transactions of inventory products. Perform inventory audits and report any discrepancies or issues. Demonstrate proficiency in using inventory software.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiES

+ Verify the accuracy of the inventory records
+ Monitor and update inventory records using inventory software
+ Order and receive supplies from vendors and verify invoices and packing slips
+ Conduct physical counts and audits of inventory items and reconcile discrepancies
+ Identify and report inventory issues, such as shortages, damages, or excesses
+ Prepare and distribute inventory reports and summaries to management and other departments
