Role Overview
Royal Columbian Hospital is seeking a clinical Endocrinologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care as part of a capable team of seven endocrinologists, supported by two inpatient endocrine nurse practitioners and one inpatient diabetes nurse educator.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient general endocrinology including diabetes, pituitary, neuroendocrine and thyroid conditions.
- Maintain the highest standards of safe clinical and professional practice.
- Collaborate collegially with hospital staff involved in day‑to‑day care of endocrine patients.
- Lead and support initiatives for glycemic control and diabetes education.
- Supervise, mentor and teach medical students, residents and fellows.
- Participate in weekly endocrinology CME rounds.
- Provide on‑call coverage as per the established endocrinology on‑call roster.
