Responsibilities
- Provide independent, objective assurance and consulting audit services and other non‑traditional activities to San Miguel Food Group units, helping the organization add value and improve its operations.
- Execute a comprehensive internal auditing program for San Miguel Food Group companies, focusing on risk management, control systems and continuous improvement.
- Identify and evaluate significant exposures to risk and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls related to governance, operations and information systems, including:
- Reliability and integrity of financial and operational data.
- Effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Safeguarding of assets.
- Compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, regulations and contracts.
